Thanking GOD for all reasons, anywhere

We have numerous ways in acknowledging GOD’s greatness to us. I know, as many of us are believer to GOD, know and feel HIS greatness and power in every moment of our lives.

The weather here in our country (yehey, we’re back! ;)) is not so good there have been many landslides happening in many places. Also, in one of the regions, there is ongoing war between the military and the rebels, and of course, some other problems that our nation faces. We too, as individuals have our own.

No matter how tough our days and lives are, we keep on living our lives in many ways possible.

Regardless the manners on how we deal with our lives, there is one thing that I know and certain of, and that is GOD’s power and love that keep us holding on during the hardest moments in our lives, during all our difficult times. GOD himself can make things better and in order for make us see the light at the end the darkest tunnel and to see the wonderful sunshine past every hardest of all rains.

We are thanking GOD for everything HE has done (and did not :)) to me, my husband and our family.

Thank YOU GOD! YOU never fail to amaze us! All Glory are YOURS. Amen.

Church of GOD International Members in Isabela Gave Thanks to GOD Almighty

Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel’s preaching of the word of GOD has reached the far places of the 7,107 islands of the Philippines.

From Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao many of people have turned away from their false religions to become a member of the only one, true religion.

Last Saturday, May 4, 2013 the Church of GOD International Members in Isabela have offered their sacrifice of thanksgiving to the LORD for saving them from multitude of dangers and for giving Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel as faithful leaders of the Members Church of GOD International.

One of the locales that was established in the Isabela District, Sierra Madre Coastal Area is Maconacon.

The locale of Maconacon was established in the year 2007. In there, the electricity is supplied only during night and the commodities are expensive and the transportation is limited. Not only it is limited but the way to go there is also dangerous and long. The fastest travel is through air via single engine plane from Cauayan, next is through boat where the travel would take an hour and lastly, by foot and it would take 3 and a half days plus the dangers that you would encounter along the way. Dangers, such as the rebels and vicious animals the truth that is according to the Bodgie Dy, the Isabela governor himself.

Just to share you a brief history of the Philippines, it was in Palanan, a remote location in Isabela, where Emilio Aguinaldo, a former president was captured after 2 years by the Americans in 1902 during the Philippine-American war. From then up to the present, still, there is no concrete road that has being constructed in the Sierra Madre Coastal Areas.

A baptizer was set to officiate baptism but was stranded in Cauayan airport for 2 days because it was very cloudy. Using boat as their mode of transportation, people who are set to be baptized was accompanied by the Church elders to Casiguran so that in there, they will be baptized. With GOD’s help, the baptism were able to push through despite of the hardship that they encountered along the way. On this, there 7 souls were baptized on April 25, 2013.

With the grace of GOD through Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel brethren were blessed with satellite dish receiver and generator so that the brethrens in Maconacon, Dimasalansan, Bacovian and Palanan will not be left behind on listening and learning the teachings that Brothers Eli and Daniel are preaching before the congregation.

Since there is no adequate medical centers and institutions in their area, they were also given medicines and vitamins in addition.

All thanks and praises are to GOD!
