Bro. Eli sings with the Cascades

Bro. Eli Soriano a popular evangelist, held a concert yesterday, April 8, 2012 in Ang Dating Daan (ADD) Convention Center in Apalit Pampanga. The show started at 7:00 pm. The convention center was full of people who attended the concert. Just like the first concert that Bro. Eli held for this year on January 1, 2012, there has been a dinner that was served for free.

Bro. Eli Soriano sang many songs including, Only yesterday, Yesterday once more songs that were famous songs by The Carpenters. His granddaughter also performed two songs during the concert. The Cascades also graced the event as one of the special performers during the concert.

It is a blessed night, said John Gummoe, a vocalist of the singing group said during his opening remarks.
According to John, they have 12 songs on their first album and he will be singing all of the 12 songs during the concert. He also sang Beautiful Girl composed and sang by Jose Mari Chan in honor of the OPM Original Pinoy Music.

As one of the special part of the concert, Bro. Eli and John sang Angel on my Shoulder. John introduced Bro. Eli saying – I would like to now introduce to you one more time, Bro. Eli, the most sensible preacher of our time.

At the end of their song number, they both reminisce the moment when they met when they were both here in the Philippines. John asked Bro. Eli if he still remember the time that they met in waterfront hotel in Cebu and Bro. Eli replied I will not forget that day the John said, It’s pleasure and honor to be here with you tonight.

Bro. Daniel Razon, who is Bro. Eli’s nephew, performed songs numbers that also entertained the audience during the latter part of the concert.

This  is a birthday and a benefit concert of Bro. Eli entitled, We are Blessed. The proceeds of this concert will benefit the less fortunate.

Bro. Eli, at the end of the show delivered his speech and expressed his warm thanks who attended the concert and most especially to the one who makes everything happens – GOD.

Bro. Eli and his Special Day

Bro. Eli is known by many people, bad or good as a preacher. For many years, he has been famous for being the only preacher who can answer questions direct from the Bible. Historically speaking, until now, he remains unbeatable when it comes to religious debates. Few days from now, he will be celebrating his 48^th birthday in Christ. It has been 48 years with GOD’s help since he was baptized and become a member of the true Church of GOD.

For many years, he has been recognized by many people because of the good things that he did and for the good things that he is doing with GOD’s help. On the other hand, he is also being maligned and many people are trying to destroy his good reputation, because just like other successful and popular people, he is being envied.

I do not really care about what his enemies say about him what I know is that —

Bro. Eli may not be the richest man in this world, but he is one of the wealthiest, when it comes to doing good

Bro. Eli may not be the handsome –st person but he is inside (and he is also outside)

Bro. Eli may be the bad-dest person in the eyes of his enemies but in my mind and heart I know what kind of a person he is

Bro. Eli may be the most misinterpreted person in this world but to me (and to many) he don’t need to explain to be understood

Yes, today, is not yet his Birthday in flesh nor in spirit, but I am writing this in advance because in the coming days GOD willing, I will be very busy. And I am uncertain if I am still alive until that day.

GOD willing on his Birthday, we will be celebrating it with him with praises and thanksgiving to our GOD Almighty. The ONE who sent him in the midst of us and of course with LORD JESUS who has always been and will always be our Special Guest in our gatherings.
