It was not really GOD’s fault

Japan, also known as the “Land of the Rising Sun” is an archipelago that consists of thousands of islands. Its capital city is Tokyo, which considered as one of the largest city in the world with more than 30 million inhabitants. Japan is considered as one of the leading nations in scientific research in technology and machinery.  

It has been a week since the earthquake with a magnitude of 8.9 shook the land of Fukushima in Japan. The strong earthquake has been followed by a tsunami that wiped off almost the entire place. Thousands of lives have been lost and numerous infrastructures have been destroyed.  These followed by the nuclear crisis brought about by the explosion of one of the reactors in the nuclear plant in Fukushima that also killed people.

Whenever calamities happen, people tend to blame everything to GOD.

In an article written by Bro. Eli Soriano entitled, Its Not God’s Fault; Blame the Hypocrites! it says;

“If only they are using their power to think, their allegation that “if there is a God, why is he permitting these things to happen?”, they should have realized the truth that there are things that happen on earth beyond the control of all humanity; proving that somebody more powerful than man is doing such thing.  Their criticism, if investigated, will compel them to believe in the existence of God.

Although not all catastrophes are acts of God; there are those caused by the recklessness and irresponsibility of men (Rev. 11:8)”

“And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.”

With all the calamities, destructions, struggles and hardship in our lives in this world, why do you think humanity was able to survive and move forward?   

It is because there is GOD, the creator of the universe. GOD loves all the people that HE created.

Wonders in South

When I was in elementary, we studied about Philippine geography. We also tackled about the native products and tourist spots on different provinces across the Philippines. I found the Chocolate Hills in Bohol as one of the most interesting tourist spots here in the Philippines.

Bohol is said to be the 10^th largest island in the Philippines. It is a southeastern province located in the Central Visayas region.  Tagbilaran City is its capital. The second smallest primate in the world called the Philippine tarsier which has a scientific name, Tarsius syrichta can be found in Bohol.  It is considered as one of the endangered species. It is very small, that it only measures about 85 to 160 millimeters. Tarsiers are nocturnal animals, they have large set of eyes, they have color gray to dark brown fur and a narrow tail. Tarsiers eat different kinds of insects.

Tarsiers live on trees in the forests. Since they are nocturnal animals, they are asleep in the morning while awake and active at night. They are usually seen on trees attached vertically.

As earlier mentioned, Philippine chocolate hills can be found in Bohol. It can be considered as one of the most famous tourist spots in Bohol. Chocolate hills are covered with grass and are made up of limestone. During summer or dry season, hills are colored green while at the conclusion of the dry season or summer, the hills turn to color brown.

Nature reveals GOD’s marvelous work of art. From the largest to smallest type of all species, from the vastest to the narrowest of the plains GOD’s greatness and wonderful creations abound.

All these things are evidences that the existence of this world the entire universe was not caused by the theory they called big bang, but the existence of the world and universe is because of the mighty works of GOD. Thanks and glory be to GOD who the greatest creator of all time!
